地中海に浮かぶマルタ島で、20年近くに及びミュージックシーンに知れ渡るPartyオーガナイズを80年代中頃から手掛け、その一方で一流のスカイダイバーでありスクールの指導者としての経歴を持つJo Mootribe。その後、数年間に渡りこの地球上を旅をしながらいくつかの土地、国を移住して2004年、タイのパンガン島に拠点を置くことになると同時に、Psy-Trance DJとして Full On/Twilight を軸にしたプレイで世界中にその名を馳せてきた。’Magic Phangan Productions’ の中心人物でありパンガン島での ’Blackmoon Culture’ その発信地である ’Ban Sabaii’ 毎年年末にタオ島にて開催される ’The Experience’ これらにおけるパーティでの不可欠なステージ創りを担い、またレジデントDJとしてその活躍はドイツ、フランス、マルタ、スイス、オーストリア、インド、ネパール、台湾、日本、韓国などのフェス、クラブで数え切れないほどのプレイを重ねてきている。
Biography:
Jo Moontribe is originally from the Mediterranean Island of Malta, where for almost two decades he was the owner of a prominent Nitespot that was well known for its Music Scene, and a party organizer since the mid-eighties. He was also the Managing Director and Jump Master of a Skydiving School.
After many years of travelling around the Globe, and living in a few different countries, in 2004 he moved to the island of Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand, where over the years he has become a well know name in the international scene as a Full-on/Twilight Psychedelic Trance DJ.
Jo forms part of ‘Magic Phangan Productions’, the Thai Organization behind Ban Sabaii, Blackmoon Culture (Koh Phangan) and The Experience Festival (Koh Tao), where he is also a Resident Dj and Stage Manager.
Jo has played in countless Festivals and Clubs around the World, such as Germany, France, Malta, Switzerland, Austria, India, Nepal, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan and South Korea.
